Inorganics and wet-chemical analysis
Within the group 'Inorganics and Wet-chemical Analysis group' Eurofins Analytico analyses for the presence of inorganic substances and conducts wet-chemical analyses. These are substances that are determined by: continuous flow analysis, discrete analysis, classic spectrometry or potentiometry.
These substances include:
· Nitrogen content according to Kjeldahl
· Oxygen content
· Acidity (pH)
· COD: chemical oxygen demand
· BOD: biological oxygen demand
In the analysis group 'Characterisation and Texture analysis' Eurofins Analytico performs various measurements in soil.

Various other metals can also be analysed, including: Al, Be, Fe, Si, Sr, Te, Ti, W and Zr. The analyses are performed using the latest ICP-MS and ICP-AES techniques.
We also use the proper pre-treatment methods for the metal analysis. Common treatments are: drying, grinding, sieving, acid destruction (waste water), filtering and acidification (water).
