The year 2011 is a remarkable year for our company Eurofins Analytico in many ways. After a redesign of the laboratory following the integration of other facilities into our head office we have now established a well designed integrated laboratory facility of more than 7500 m². Furthermore we have started a program called ‘One-IT’. The Eurofins Group is currently accelerating the deployment of standard processes and systems across its Laboratories via the One IT program. On top of that, despite a seasonally quiet period in the beginning of the year, we had our first half year with significant sales growth, after a difficult period since the economic downturn.
Eurofins Group also acquired recently Lancaster laboratories in the USA. Lancaster is one of the largest and most reputable environmental testing laboratories in the USA. It has a solid reputation for excellence in service quality and reliability. Lancaster’s strong position and reputation for top quality service in environmental testing in the USA fits well with Eurofins’ strategy of being the global market leader with a focus on providing high quality services to large global corporations.
We have we experienced an overall up-lift of business activities and in particular in South European countries like Spain and Italy. Also some East European countries like Poland are showing growth of their environmental activities resulting in bigger testing volumes from those countries.
During the recent months we have put a lot of effort in new method developments. Amongst others the most remarkable ones are a total renewed analytical platform for PAH and PCB analysis and an upgrade of our TerrAttesT sample kit.
The current year has already been a year of success. With our commitment to the core areas of analytical testing and support services with a strong personal touch, Eurofins Analytico will ensure that its position and your position as a customer at the forefront of the international environmental market is further cemented.

Eurofins Analytico goes Romania - Romanian sales agent
Last year Eurofins Analytico attended the 16th Romenvirontec an international environmental event in Bucharest. Due to an increase of interest from the Romanian environmental market, we have undertaken the following step and therefore we would like to introduce with great pleasure our Romanian Sales Agent; Robert Roca.

Further expansion of the Eurofins network

We are pleased to inform you that the last couple of months the Global Environmental Division of Eurofins has expanded and further strengthened our international network. In Brazil the environmental laboratory 'Innolab do Brasil' has been acquired by the Eurofins group. This Brazilian facility serves the industry, government, national and international environmental consultants for soil and groundwater projects. After opening a food laboratory in China, Eurofins also started up their environmental activities in China. Sales and support offices will be opened in several places (eg. Shanghai). Both facilities in Brazil and China will work in close relation with our laboratory of Eurofins │Analytico in The Netherlands.
