In the Netherlands we have two Food laboratories, one in Heerenveen and one in Rotterdam. In Heerenveen microbiological and chemical analyses are carried out. Also our Carbohydrate Compentence Center is located in Heerenveen. Quick contamination tests are performed in the Rotterdam laboratory. This location is chosen because of all the goods transported through the Rotterdam harbour.
