Bacterial identification using the MALDI-TOF or Genotypic Identification
We use MALDI-TOF technology for bacterial identification. You will have your results within 5 working days or we have an option to speed up with our RUSH services. In case MALDI-TOF results need confirmation because they do not meet with our Quality standards, samples will be identified using DNA sequencing, Unilocus Comparative Sequencing (ULSA). This service will be free of charge.

Fungal identification/Genotypic Identification
We use PCR technology for fungal identification. For Fungal Identification 25S rRNA gene or ITS1/ITS2 partial sequencing will be used. Except for the partial sequencing there is also the possibility to perform a Multi-Locus Comparative Sequencing (MLSA).
