Eurofins strengthens number 1 position in Environment Testing through acquisition of IESPM Group
We are proud to inform you that Eurofins has acquired the IESPM Group as of the 1st of April.
By acquiring the IESPM Group, Eurofins strengthens its number 1 position in the Benelux Environment Testing market.
IESPM is an expert and established laboratory group, consisting of 70 FTE, with 2 laboratories located in France and 1 specialized R&D location, known as BfB, in Belgium. The laboratories are ISO 14001, 9001 and 17025 certified, as well as CIR approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
The IESPMOil Analysis & Diagnostic laboratories focus on analysis & diagnostics and offer a panel of analyses on many types of fluids to respond to various issues. The BfB Oil Research analysis laboratory focuses on environmental impact, performance and physiochemistry and is specialized in research, quality control and impact assessment of environmental lubricants and other types of fluids.
The Group has over 50 years of experience in the analysis and diagnosis of industrial fluids. The R&D laboratory has accompanied the largest industrial, petrochemical and oleochemistry companies worldwide for more than 20 years.
IESPM offers a complete and customized quality control diagnostic service (composition, characteristics, wear or even pollution effects) of the fluids present in your equipment (e.g. engines, turbines, gears).
Through tailor-made analyses, optimized sample processing time, an emergency service and a secured online client workspace the Group supports professional clients from a wide variety of business sectors such as industries, manufacturers of industrial fluids, transport, and more. Additionally, all analyses are accompanied by an interpretation of the results, a diagnosis and personalized recommendations.
The activities of IESPM are complementary to our current environment testing portfolio. By combining the new and existing portfolios, Eurofins continues to broaden its “one stop shop” portfolio for the industry, environmental consultants and government agencies.
